Li Bai, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, loved to travel through mountains and rivers, and his footprints spread across the south and north of the Yangtze River. Once, he set out from his hometown of Sichuan to visit Yangzhou. Along the way, he passed through layers of mountains and crossed winding rivers, finally arriving in Yangzhou City. He sighed: ‘Thousands of mountains and rivers, just for a drink!‘
