"Di Ling Ren Jie" is a Chinese idiom that means that because a place is rich in culture and talented people, it has become a famous place.
Origin Story
Wang Bo, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, was extremely talented and wrote many popular poems. Once, he was ordered to visit his father in Jiaozhi and passed through Hongzhou, where he happened to meet the Chongyang Festival. Yan Boyu, the governor of Hongzhou, gave him a banquet. Wang Bo was excited and wrote the famous "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion". In the preface, he wrote: "The riches of nature, the dragon light illuminates the realm of the stars and the ox, talented people and fertile land, Xu Ru sits beneath Chen Fan's bed." The sentence means that Hongzhou is rich in resources and talent. This is the best portrayal of "Di Ling Ren Jie."
