During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang led the Shu army on a northern expedition. Facing the formidable military strength of Cao Wei, he did not choose a head-on confrontation but adopted the strategy of "attacking the heart". He first sent people to spread rumors that the Wei army had insufficient supplies and was demoralized. At the same time, he secretly assisted some Wei officials to create internal conflict. As a result, the Wei army became chaotic and demoralized. Zhuge Liang seized the opportunity to lead the Shu army to attack and ultimately won the victory. Zhuge Liang's strategy of "attacking the heart" has been a topic of discussion among military strategists throughout history.
