Origin Story
战国时期，赵国被强大的秦国包围，赵孝成王派平原君赵胜去楚国求救。平原君带着很多门客一起去，可是到了楚国，楚王却始终不肯答应出兵。平原君的门客毛遂看到这种情况，站出来对平原君说：“我虽然是您的门客，但我想我有能力说服楚王出兵。请您让我试试。”平原君起初很犹豫，因为他并不了解毛遂的能力。但毛遂坚持，最后平原君同意了。
During the Warring States Period, the State of Zhao was besieged by the powerful State of Qin. Zhao Xiaochengwang sent Prince Ping Yuan to the State of Chu to seek help. Prince Ping Yuan went with many of his retainers, but when they arrived in Chu, the King of Chu still refused to send troops. Mao Sui, one of Prince Ping Yuan's retainers, saw this situation and stood up to Prince Ping Yuan and said: “Although I am your retainer, I believe I have the ability to persuade the King of Chu to send troops. Please let me try.” Prince Ping Yuan hesitated at first, as he did not know Mao Sui's abilities. But Mao Sui insisted, and finally Prince Ping Yuan agreed.
