In ancient times, in a bustling marketplace, there lived an experienced fortune teller with sharp eyes and the ability to see through everything. Every day, countless people came to seek his divination and guidance. He could not only predict good and bad fortune but also see the secrets and worries hidden in people's hearts. One day, a wealthy merchant in fine clothes came to seek his fortune. On the surface, he appeared imposing, but the fortune teller saw his inner anxiety from his slightly trembling fingers and evasive gaze. It turned out that the merchant had recently made a large fortune, but he worried that the money was not legitimately earned and he would sooner or later face punishment. The fortune teller did not directly reveal this, but gently advised him to do good deeds and cultivate virtue to achieve lasting peace. After hearing this, the merchant was awakened as from a dream and sincerely repented. He donated a portion of his wealth to charitable organizations and henceforth lived a peaceful and honest life.
