Legend has it that in ancient times, many rare birds and beasts lived on Mount Kunlun. These animals possessed magical powers and could control the natural forces of wind, rain, thunder, and lightning. Among them was a divine bird called the "Phoenix," whose feathers were multicolored and could fly to the highest heavens and dive into the deepest oceans. There was also a divine beast called the "Qilin," whose body was covered in golden light and symbolized auspiciousness and peace. These rare birds and beasts protected Mount Kunlun and guarded the peace of the human world. Later, due to human greed and destruction, many of these rare birds and beasts gradually disappeared. Today, we can only find traces of them in ancient legends and museums.
