话说在古代，有一个富可敌国的皇帝，他每天都沉迷于享乐之中。宫殿里堆满了金银珠宝，珍奇异兽应有尽有。他穿戴着最华美的衣裳，吃着山珍海味，每天晚上都举办盛大的宴会，歌舞升平，好不热闹。后宫佳丽三千，他日日夜夜沉醉于酒色之中，挥金如土，毫不吝啬。百姓们却在饥寒交迫中挣扎，田地荒芜，民不聊生。然而，皇帝却对此视而不见，依然我行我素，继续着他的穷奢极欲的生活。直到有一天，叛军攻破了城门，皇帝的穷奢极欲的生活才宣告结束。
Once upon a time in ancient China, there was an emperor who was so wealthy that he could rival a kingdom. Every day, he was immersed in pleasure. His palace was filled with gold, silver, and jewels; rare animals and birds were abundant. He wore the most magnificent clothes, ate delicacies, and held grand banquets every night, with singing, dancing, and revelry. He had thousands of concubines in his harem, and he spent his days and nights intoxicated by wine and women, spending money as if it were water. The people, however, were struggling in hunger and cold, their fields were barren, and the people lived in poverty. However, the emperor turned a blind eye to this, and continued his extravagant lifestyle. One day, rebel troops stormed the city gates, and the emperor's life of luxury and excess came to an end.
