话说西汉时期，汉高祖刘邦登基后，因宠爱戚夫人，想废掉太子刘盈，改立戚夫人的儿子刘如意为太子。吕后非常着急，于是她找到了张良，询问对策。张良建议吕后让太子刘盈暗中结交天下贤士，以增强太子羽翼，稳固太子之位。太子刘盈遵从张良的计策，秘密找到了隐居在商山上的四位贤士，请他们辅佐自己。等到刘邦发现太子刘盈已经得到四位贤士的辅佐，羽翼已经丰满，便打消了改立太子的念头，刘盈最终顺利继承了皇位。
During the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, after ascending the throne, favored Lady Qi and wanted to depose Crown Prince Liu Ying and establish Lady Qi's son, Liu Ruyi, as the new crown prince. Empress Dowager Lü was very anxious, so she consulted Zhang Liang for advice. Zhang Liang suggested that Empress Dowager Lü have Crown Prince Liu Ying secretly associate with talented men from all over the country to strengthen the Crown Prince's power and secure his position. Crown Prince Liu Ying followed Zhang Liang's advice and secretly found four wise men living in seclusion on Mount Shangshan and asked them to assist him. When Emperor Liu Bang discovered that Crown Prince Liu Ying now had the support of four wise men and his power was consolidated, he abandoned his plan to depose the Crown Prince. Liu Ying eventually successfully inherited the throne.
