It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai who, with high aspirations, traveled a long way to Chang'an City, hoping to gain fame and honor and bring glory to his ancestors. He visited many high-ranking officials and hoped to gain their appreciation and promotion. However, he failed to find a job, and his career path was very bumpy. He traveled a lot and sent countless applications, but always without response. Even when he occasionally met an official, he often offended him with his straightforward personality and words, and finally returned home empty-handed. After many years in Chang'an, he not only had not obtained any position, but also became penniless, and his living situation became increasingly poor. Finally, he had to leave Chang'an and embarked on a long journey to pursue his dreams. In the end, however, he achieved great success in writing poetry and became famous throughout the world.
