Origin Story
战国时期，燕国和齐国为了争夺土地爆发了战争，双方都损失惨重，百姓流离失所。一位德高望重的智者，听说此事后，主动来到两国之间，想从中斡旋，化解这场战争。他先来到燕国，向燕王说明齐国的处境，以及长期战争对燕国人民带来的痛苦，劝说燕王为了百姓的安宁，应该考虑停战。接着，他又来到齐国，向齐王讲述燕国的困境，以及战争的残酷性，劝说齐王以民为本，停止战争。经过反复劝说，燕王和齐王都认识到战争的危害，最终同意停战谈判，并最终达成了和平协议。战争停止了，两国人民都避免了进一步的苦难，智者从中斡旋的举动，受到了两国人民的称赞。
During the Warring States period, Yan and Qi fought a war over land, resulting in heavy losses and displacement. A wise and respected sage, upon hearing of this, went between the two countries to mediate and end the war. He first visited Yan and explained Qi's plight and the suffering of Yan's people due to the protracted war, persuading the King of Yan to consider a ceasefire for the sake of his people. He then visited Qi, explaining Yan's predicament and the cruelty of the war, persuading the King of Qi to prioritize his people and stop fighting. After repeated persuasions, both kings recognized the war's harm and agreed to ceasefire negotiations, ultimately leading to a peace treaty. The war ended, sparing both peoples further suffering, and the sage's mediation earned him praise.
