Once upon a time, there was an old scholar in a village. He was learned and respected by everyone. One day, a bully came to the village and started to act tyrannically, oppressing the people. The old scholar was very unhappy about this and tried to persuade him to change his ways, but the bully didn't listen and got worse. The old scholar was very angry, but because of his age and his physical frailty, he decided to ignore him. However, the bully's evil deeds escalated, and the village became chaotic. The villagers began to report him to the government. The old scholar realized that by ignoring him he had allowed the evil to happen. He felt very guilty, regretting that he had not stood up for justice in time.
