Origin Story

话说唐朝时期，长安城内有一位名叫李白的才子，他不仅文采斐然，而且博学多才。众所周知，李白喜好饮酒，他常常在酒桌上与朋友们谈笑风生，吟诗作赋。一日，李白与好友高适在酒楼小酌，二人谈论起当朝的政治局势，高适忧心忡忡，认为朝政昏暗，民不聊生。李白则认为，只要有贤明的君主，国家就一定能够兴盛繁荣。高适反驳道：“可是现在，众所周知，奸臣当道，他们鱼肉百姓，贪赃枉法，百姓苦不堪言啊！”李白仰头喝了一口酒，说道：“高兄此言差矣，只要我们大家齐心协力，为国家的发展尽一份绵薄之力，相信总有一天，国家会变得更加美好！”高适听后，深受感动，他坚信，在李白的积极影响下，这个国家一定会越来越好。

In the Tang Dynasty, there lived in the city of Chang'an a scholar named Li Bai, who not only possessed impressive literary talent, but was also very learned. It is widely known that Li Bai enjoyed drinking. He often spent time in the taverns, where he would jest with his friends and compose poetry. One day, Li Bai and his friend Gao Shi were drinking together at an inn, and they discussed the political situation at court. Gao Shi was worried and believed that the government was corrupt and the people were suffering. Li Bai, however, believed that if there were a wise ruler, the country would surely flourish. Gao Shi countered: “But as everyone knows, corrupt officials are in power; they oppress the people, take bribes, and violate the laws. The people are suffering terribly!” Li Bai took a drink and said, “Gao Shi, you're wrong. If we all work together and do our best for the country, it will surely get better one day.” Gao Shi was deeply moved and believed that under Li Bai’s positive influence, the country would indeed see better days.
