Emperor Tuobahong of the Northern Wei Dynasty was a capable and far-sighted emperor. He diligently governed and personally led many military campaigns, making great contributions to the unification and development of the Northern Wei Dynasty. However, with each campaign, he worried about the affairs of the court. To address this issue, he promoted Li Chong, an honest and capable man who gained the emperor's complete trust. Before each expedition, Emperor Tuobahong entrusted the administration to Li Chong. With Li Chong's assistance, the emperor had no rear worries and could focus entirely on military affairs. This resulted in several victories and laid the foundation for the prosperity of the Northern Wei Dynasty. After Li Chong's death, Emperor Tuobahong mourned deeply, saying, "During all my campaigns, I had no worries thanks to you!" These words highlight Li Chong's contribution in relieving the emperor's worries and demonstrate the deep friendship between emperor and minister.
