During the Chu-Han contention at the end of the Qin Dynasty, Xiang Yu and Liu Bang confronted each other at Guangwu City. Xiang Yu, full of confidence, proposed a duel to end the prolonged war. However, Liu Bang, knowing he was no match for Xiang Yu in combat, cleverly refused the challenge. He publicly listed Xiang Yu's ten major crimes, the most serious of which was "outrageous rebellion." Liu Bang righteously pointed out that Xiang Yu had declared himself king, usurped power, murdered loyal ministers, and caused chaos in the world. His atrocities were countless and appalling. Xiang Yu was furious. He didn't expect Liu Bang to be so bold as to publicly accuse him of such a crime. This was a serious challenge to his authority. Enraged, Xiang Yu ordered his archers to shoot Liu Bang, who was wounded, forcing the Han army to retreat. This defeat made Liu Bang even more aware of Xiang Yu's brutality and unreasonableness, further strengthening his determination to overthrow Xiang Yu's rule. Eventually, through persistent efforts, Liu Bang won the Chu-Han war.
