话说唐僧师徒四人西天取经，途径一座大山，山路崎岖难行。悟空见天色已晚，便催促大家加快速度。八戒懒散惯了，慢吞吞地走在后面。悟空见状，施展法术，化作一道金光，飞速向前，眨眼间便超过了唐僧和沙僧，如同流星追赶月亮般迅速，转眼间便抵达了山顶。八戒见状大惊失色，赶紧加快脚步，生怕被落在后面。师徒四人到达山顶后，只见云海茫茫，景色壮观。悟空笑着说：“我们就像流星赶月一样，迅速地到达了目的地。这正是‘流星赶月’的写照啊！”
