Origin Story

传说中，有一位名叫琳琅的仙女，她非常喜欢收集各种珍奇宝物。有一天，她来到人间，看到人间各种各样的奇珍异宝，琳琅满目，便将它们全部收进了她的百宝囊中，从此，人间再无如此琳琅满目的景象。后来人们为了纪念她，便将“琳琅满目”用来形容美好的事物很多。

One day, she came to the mortal world and saw countless rare and precious treasures, a dazzling array of beautiful things. She collected them all into her magical treasure bag, and from that day on, the mortal world never again had such a sight. To commemorate her, people used “Linlang Man Mu” to describe the great number of beautiful things.
