Origin Story

东汉末年,名士杨沛被曹操任命为长社令。他秉公执法,不畏权势,深得曹操赏识,后被提拔为京兆尹。上任前,杨沛向曹操保证,他会竭尽全力,在京兆地区大力推行法治,严惩贪官污吏。消息传到各地,那些为非作歹的豪强地主和皇亲国戚闻风丧胆,纷纷收敛起自己的嚣张气焰,不敢再像以前那样无法无天了。杨沛到任后,果然不负众望,他整顿吏治,严明法纪,使得京兆地区社会安定,百姓安居乐业,创造了良好的政治局面。几年后,杨沛因病去世,京兆百姓为他修建了衣冠冢,以表达对他的感激之情。

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the famous Yang Pei was appointed by Cao Cao as the governor of Changshe. He upheld justice and feared no power, and he was highly appreciated by Cao Cao. Later, he was promoted to the governor of Jingzhao. Before taking office, Yang Pei assured Cao Cao that he would do his utmost to vigorously promote the rule of law in Jingzhao region and severely punish corrupt officials. When the news spread to all parts of the country, those wealthy landowners and imperial relatives who were doing evil deeds were frightened and put away their arrogant airs, and dared not be as lawless as before. After his appointment, Yang Pei lived up to the public's expectations. He rectified the administration of government affairs, and enforced strict discipline, resulting in social stability and a good life for the people in the Jingzhao region, thus creating a good political environment. Years later, Yang Pei died of illness. The people of Jingzhao built a tomb for him to express their gratitude.
