There was an honest and mild-mannered farmer named Lao Zhang in the village. He worked diligently from sunrise to sunset, day after day for decades. He was so honest that some people called him a fool. One year, a swindler came to the village and cheated several people out of their money. The swindler targeted Lao Zhang, planning to exploit his honesty. However, Lao Zhang, though honest, was not a fool. He saw through the swindler's tricks and made the swindler pay the price. Villagers praised Lao Zhang’s intelligence. Lao Zhang’s honesty did not mean weakness. Instead, he showed extraordinary intelligence at the critical moment.
