话说宋朝年间,京城附近住着一位名叫李刚的青年,他为人正直,乐于助人。一日,李刚上街办事,突然听到河边传来一阵呼救声。只见一名女子不慎落水,在水中挣扎。李刚毫不犹豫地跳入冰冷的河水中,奋力将女子救上岸。女子得救后,感激涕零,连连道谢。李刚并没有因此而沾沾自喜,而是默默地离开了。此事传开后,街坊邻居无不夸赞李刚见义勇为,他的义举也激励着更多的人向他学习。
During the Song Dynasty, there lived a young man named Li Gang near the capital. He was honest and kind-hearted. One day, while Li Gang was in town, he suddenly heard cries for help from the riverbank. He saw that a woman had accidentally fallen into the water and was struggling. Li Gang jumped into the icy river without hesitation and managed to rescue the woman. The woman, after being saved, expressed her gratitude. Li Gang did not boast about his act but quietly left the scene. The news spread, and the neighbours praised Li Gang’s courage and selflessness, inspiring many to follow his example.
