Origin Story
战国时期，齐国有一位名叫晏婴的政治家，他以正直廉洁、才华横溢著称于世。有一次，齐王想要出兵攻打邻国，晏婴极力劝阻，他说：“打仗会死人，会造成百姓流离失所，这不是好事。我们应该想办法和平解决争端。”齐王不听，执意出兵。结果齐国大败，损失惨重。齐王后悔莫及，向晏婴请教该如何挽回损失。晏婴说：“大王，现在后悔已经晚了。我们应该吸取教训，以后不要再犯同样的错误了。”齐王问：“那我们应该怎么办呢？”晏婴说：“我们应该以德服人，用仁义去感化那些有怨恨的人，这样才能真正解决问题。”齐王点头称是，并采纳了晏婴的建议。从此以后，齐国变得更加强大，百姓也更加安居乐业。
During the Warring States period in China, there was a statesman named Yan Ying in the state of Qi. He was known for his integrity, honesty, and extraordinary talent. Once, the King of Qi wanted to attack a neighboring country. Yan Ying strongly dissuaded him, saying: "War will cause death and displacement of the people, which is not good. We should try to resolve the dispute peacefully." The King of Qi did not listen and went to war. As a result, Qi suffered a major defeat and heavy losses. The King of Qi regretted it deeply and asked Yan Ying how to make up for the losses. Yan Ying said: "Your Majesty, it is too late to regret now. We should learn from our mistakes and avoid making the same mistakes in the future." The king asked: "What should we do then?" Yan Ying said: "We should win people over with our moral behavior, use benevolence and righteousness to influence those who hate us. Only then can we truly solve the problem." The king nodded in agreement and followed Yan Ying's advice. From that day on, Qi became stronger and the people lived in peace and prosperity.
