话说唐朝时期，长安城外有一座破败不堪的寺庙，香火稀少，几乎无人问津。寺庙里住着一位老僧，他日夜祈祷，希望能重振寺庙的辉煌。一日，老僧梦到一位神仙，神仙告诉他，要想寺庙面目一新，就必须改变现状，用心做事。老僧醒来后，深思熟虑，决定从整顿寺庙环境开始。他带领寺庙里的弟子们，一起清理杂草，修缮殿宇，重新粉刷墙壁，还种植了花草树木。经过一番努力，寺庙焕然一新，吸引了不少香客前来朝拜。从此寺庙香火鼎盛，名声远扬。
Once upon a time, during the Tang Dynasty, there was a dilapidated temple outside the city of Chang'an, with few worshippers and almost no attention. An old monk lived in the temple, praying day and night for a chance to restore the temple's glory. One day, the old monk dreamt of a god, who told him that if he wanted the temple to change its appearance, he must change the status quo and work hard. After waking up, the old monk pondered for a long time and decided to start with cleaning up the temple environment. He led the disciples in the temple to clear weeds, repair buildings, repaint walls, and plant flowers and trees. After a lot of efforts, the temple was completely changed, attracting many worshippers to come and worship. From then on, the temple flourished, and its reputation spread far and wide.
