Robert Noyce (December 12, 1927 – June 3, 1990) was an American physicist and entrepreneur, considered one of the "godfathers of Silicon Valley," who co-invented the integrated circuit with Jack Kilby.
Born in Iowa, U.S., Noyce received his Ph.D. in physics from the California Institute of Technology.
