Explanation

Origin Story
During the Northern Song Dynasty, the famous poet Su Shunqin followed the reformer Fan Zhongyan and repeatedly wrote to Emperor Song Renzong to attack Prime Minister Lü Yijian. Once, Su Shunqin ordered people to sell old official envelopes at a temple festival to get money for drinking. Censor Liu Yuanyu learned about this and reported it to Emperor Song Renzong. Song Renzong removed Su Shunqin from his post. Liu Yuanyu proudly said that he had “caught Su Shunqin in one net” and thus eliminated him forever. From that day on, Su Shunqin had no chance to hold office again, and the reformers lost their power.
