Origin Story
During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han, led a large army on a northern expedition against Cao Wei, aiming to reclaim central China. However, the Wei army was powerful, and with the advantages of geography and people, they repeatedly thwarted the Shu army's attacks. Despite Zhuge Liang's meticulous planning and deployment, he was unable to break through the Wei army's defenses and suffered a major setback in a crucial battle. Sima Yi, the Wei general, personally led elite troops in a fierce counterattack. Under the Wei army's powerful offensive, the Shu soldiers retreated steadily, ultimately resulting in their complete annihilation. Zhuge Liang was forced to withdraw his troops. This devastating defeat not only severely weakened Shu Han but also directly led to Zhuge Liang's death shortly afterward, ending the northern expedition plan.
