Origin Story
During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the powerful general Liang Ji, whose sister was the empress, was arrogant and domineering, covering the sky with one hand. He wantonly killed innocents, was arrogant and disrespectful to the emperor, and even openly despised imperial power. Liang Ji's domineering and tyrannical behavior aroused strong dissatisfaction among the court and the people. Finally, Emperor Huan of Han, with the support of his ministers, executed Liang Ji to uphold the law. Liang Ji's story became a typical warning case for posterity, warning people not to be domineering and tyrannical, otherwise they will surely suffer the consequences.
