Origin Story
In the Qing Dynasty, Xue Pan, relying on his prominent family background, acted wantonly and tyrannically in the Jia Mansion, bullying servants and even showing disrespect to Mrs. Jia. He spent his days idling, associating with dissolute companions, and causing trouble, creating chaos in the mansion. Everyone in the Jia family tried to avoid him, yet they were helpless. One day, Xue Pan injured someone after drinking, which finally made the Jia family realize that Xue Pan's unruly behavior was intolerable. Finally, the head of the Jia family had to take measures, severely reprimanding Xue Pan and restricting his actions. Although Xue Pan outwardly obeyed, his inner arrogance and domineering nature remained unchanged. This story teaches us that those who rely on power to act wantonly and tyrannically will eventually reap what they sow.
