In the Tang Dynasty, there was a young scholar named Li Bai who witnessed the suffering of the people who lived near Chang'an. Their lives were constantly threatened by the neglected, clogged river. He decided to take on the task and the project himself, but initially, the people were hesitant to get involved. Yet, Li Bai managed to inspire them with compassion and a promise to supply them with food and tools, until they finally agreed. Together, they carried out the project successfully, and the river was cleared and thrived once more.
