Origin Story

In a remote mountain village, Village Chief Li Dabao was known for his justice and integrity. He carefully handled all the villagers’ affairs every day, never bending the law for personal gain. Once, a foreign businessman came to invest in building a road connecting the village to the outside world, which required the acquisition of some villagers’ land. Li Dabao fairly assessed the land prices and strictly followed procedures for compensation. Some villagers were dissatisfied and even sought private negotiations with him to obtain more benefits.
