大千世界 Great Thousand World
Explanation
佛教认为，世界有小千世界、中千世界、大千世界三种，指广阔无垠的世界，后也指广大无边的人世。
Buddhism believes that there are three worlds: small thousand world, medium thousand world, and great thousand world. It refers to the boundless world, and later also refers to the boundless world of people.
Origin Story
在遥远的东方，有一位名叫觉悟的僧人，他云游四方，参悟佛理。一日，他来到一处山清水秀的寺庙，寺庙的老方丈慈眉善目，对他说：‘施主远道而来，辛苦了。我观你面相慈祥，必是胸怀大志之人。’觉悟僧人笑了笑，说：‘方丈慧眼，贫僧确实对佛法有着深深的执着。我想要参透大千世界的奥秘，体悟生命的真谛。’老方丈捋着长长的胡须，缓缓说道：‘大千世界，并非你所能想象的简单。它包含了无数的星球，无数的生命，无数的因果轮回。想要参透它，需要你付出毕生的精力，甚至需要几世轮回的积累。’觉悟僧人听后，心中充满了敬畏，他更加坚定了自己参悟佛法的决心，他知道，这将是一条漫长而艰辛的路，但他不畏艰险，勇往直前。
In the distant East, there was a monk named Enlightenment who traveled far and wide to understand the Buddhist teachings. One day, he came to a beautiful temple where the old abbot greeted him kindly: "Welcome, guest from afar. Your face radiates kindness; you must be a person with great ambitions." Enlightenment smiled and said: "Abbot, your sharp insight is admirable. I am indeed deeply devoted to the teachings of the Buddha. I want to penetrate the mystery of the great world and understand the true meaning of life." The old abbot stroked his long beard and said slowly: "The great world is not as simple as you can imagine. It contains countless planets, countless lives, and countless cycles of cause and effect. To penetrate it, it takes your whole life, or even the accumulation of several lifetimes." After hearing this, Enlightenment was filled with awe, and his determination to understand the teachings of the Buddha became even stronger. He knew that this would be a long and arduous journey, but he was not afraid of difficulties and pressed on bravely.
