His garden was full of rare flowers and plants, pavilions and buildings with exquisite decorations, and he had many servants. One day, he met an old man who lived in the forest. The old man saw his fine clothes and asked him about his life. Li Wen proudly described his luxurious life. The old man sighed and said: "Young master, you are so rich but you know nothing about the sufferings of the people. What is the pleasure in living in luxury?" Li Wen was moved by the old man's words and realized that he had spent his whole life in an ivory tower and was unaware of social reality. He began to reflect on his life and decided to change the situation and do something for society. From that day on, Li Wen started to care about people's lives, helped the poor, and lived a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
