Origin Story
东汉时期，有个叫祭遵的人，为人清正廉洁，克己奉公。他担任颖阳县令时，秉公执法，不畏权贵，即使是皇帝刘秀的亲属犯了法，他也照样严惩不贷。有一次，刘秀的侍从犯了法，祭遵依法将他处死。刘秀虽然生气，但最终还是认可了祭遵的公正廉洁，并任命他为征虏将军，封颖阳侯。祭遵一生清廉，从不为个人利益着想，始终以国家利益为重，成为后世效仿的榜样。他克己奉公的故事，至今仍被人们传颂。
During the Han Dynasty, there was a man named Ji Zun who was known for his integrity and selflessness.During his term as the magistrate of Yingyang County, he upheld justice impartially, without fear of the powerful, and punished even relatives of Emperor Liu Xiu for their crimes. He even executed one of Liu Xiu's attendants for breaking the law. Although Liu Xiu was angry, he eventually recognized Ji Zun’s integrity and appointed him as the General and the Marquis of Yingyang. Throughout his life, Ji Zun remained incorruptible, always prioritizing the interests of the state over his personal gain, becoming a role model for generations to come. His story of selflessness and public service continues to inspire.
