Legend has it that the Dragon King of the South China Sea was a benevolent elder, his palace located in the vast ocean. The South Sea Dragon Palace was resplendent, with countless treasures, but even more astonishing was the Dragon King's vast and open-minded nature, capable of accommodating hundreds of rivers. Whenever small fish and shrimp from other areas arrived in the South Sea, the Dragon King provided them with shelter; even fierce sharks were not readily expelled. He believed that the ocean had ample space to accommodate all living creatures and that harmonious coexistence was paramount. The Dragon King's generosity and tolerance attracted many other marine creatures to settle, making the South Sea even more prosperous. However, in the northern part of the South Sea lived a tyrannical North Sea Dragon King. His palace, though luxurious, was filled with oppression and fear. The North Sea Dragon King was narrow-minded and intolerant of any other marine life in his territory, driving away various fish, and even sparing not the seaweed. This led to environmental deterioration and a sharp decline in biodiversity. The Dragon King's two sons, one living in the South Sea and the other in the North Sea, often visited each other. The son of the South Sea Dragon King would sigh upon seeing his cousin, exclaiming, "My father's heart is as vast as the sea, capable of accommodating hundreds of rivers, while your father is narrow-minded and incapable of tolerance." This story teaches us that possessing a broad, inclusive mind like the South Sea Dragon King is essential for a fulfilling life and greater achievements.
