A long time ago, in a remote mountain village, there lived a kind villager named Lao Zhang. Many legends about monsters and ghosts circulated in the village, and villagers were often too scared to go out. One night, Lao Zhang heard a strange sound. With curiosity, he secretly followed. He found that the sound came from a deep mountain outside the village. Many monsters of different shapes lived in the cave. Lao Zhang was terrified, but he didn't run away. Instead, he carefully observed the behavior of these monsters and ghosts. He found that these monsters and ghosts were not as scary as the legends said. They were just making trouble because of their poor living conditions. Lao Zhang decided to help them, and he used his years of savings to help these monsters and ghosts improve their lives. When the villagers learned about Lao Zhang's actions, they also offered help. Soon after, there were no more monsters and ghosts in the small mountain village, and the villagers lived a peaceful life. This story teaches us not to believe rumors easily and to be more understanding and tolerant.
