Origin Story
战国时期，齐国与楚国交战，齐国国君齐威王虚心纳谏，任用贤臣，励精图治，齐国国力日益强盛，人民安居乐业。而楚国国君昏庸无能，贪图享乐，不理朝政，导致民不聊生。最终齐国战胜楚国。这个故事说明，得道多助，失道寡助的道理。一个国家或者一个团队，只有走符合道义的道路，才能得到人民的支持，才能获得最终的成功。 公元前403年，周王室衰微，诸侯争霸，战争连绵不断。魏国是当时强国之一，但魏文侯去世后，魏国逐渐走向衰落。魏惠王继位后，骄奢淫逸，不听劝谏，导致国内矛盾激化，最终魏国失去了霸主地位，被其他诸侯国蚕食。而当时秦国国君秦孝公，则广招贤士，改革内政，国力强盛，最终成为战国七雄中最强大的国家。 历史上还有很多类似的例子，都证明了“得道多助，失道寡助”的真理。例如，唐太宗李世民在位时期，开创了贞观之治，励精图治，国家强盛，百姓安居乐业。而唐玄宗李隆基统治后期，骄奢淫逸，导致安史之乱，最终使盛唐走向衰落。 总之，“得道多助，失道寡助”告诉我们，无论是一个人、一个团队，还是一个国家，只有行得正，做得对，才能得到大家的支持和帮助，才能取得最终的成功。
During the Warring States period, Qi and Chu fought a war. Qi's ruler, King Wei, listened to his advisors and appointed capable ministers. He diligently devoted himself to governing, and Qi's power grew. The people lived in peace and prosperity. In contrast, the ruler of Chu was uneducated and incompetent. He was addicted to extravagance and did not care about government affairs, leading to hardship and misery in the land. Finally, Qi defeated Chu. This story illustrates the principle of "He who has virtue has many helpers; he who lacks virtue has few."
