In the late Han Dynasty, when heroes vied for supremacy and the country was in chaos, Liu Bei led the Shu Han army in numerous battles over many years for the reunification of China. Initially, Liu Bei’s troops were valiant and achieved numerous victories. However, years of fighting left the soldiers exhausted and depleted. Equipment was obsolete, supplies scarce, and morale low. Many soldiers longed for home and yearned for the end of the war. Liu Bei understood the seriousness of his army’s exhaustion and ordered a complete rest and recuperation to regain their strength. During this period, he actively replenished supplies and weaponry, revised strategies, and boosted morale. After the rest, the Shu Han army was revitalized, the soldiers’ spirits high, and they once again took up the cause of reunification.
