Origin Story
It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai in Chang'an City. He was supremely skilled and talented. However, he repeatedly failed the imperial examinations. Li Bai was very upset, and he secretly vowed that he would definitely pass the examinations and bring honor to his ancestors. So, he began to use every means, making connections with influential officials and nobles, hoping to get their appreciation and help. He ran around during the day, and worked hard at night, diligently studying poetry, songs, and literature, hoping to create better works to win the favor of the examiners. However, the imperial examinations were always fair and just. Talent was obvious at a glance. Although Li Bai had used every means, he still could not achieve his wish. He finally understood that even with the greatest effort and shortcuts, he could not change the final outcome. True success depends on one's own strength and true talent and learning. From then on, he devoted himself to creation and finally became a generation of immortal poets.
