Origin Story
After Yu the Great successfully controlled the flood, the world was peaceful, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment. However, a sudden and severe drought swept across the entire Central Plains, resulting in crop failure and displacement of the people. This disaster not only destroyed the farmland and houses on which people depended for survival, but also severely undermined people's confidence in rebuilding their homes. When the great drought finally ended, and people began to rebuild their homes, they found that everything was in ruins: the fields were barren, the houses had collapsed, and the water conservancy facilities were severely damaged. Faced with such a huge challenge, people felt both frustrated and hopeful. Some enlightened people stepped forward, actively organizing manpower and material resources to repair water conservancy projects, rebuild houses, and sow grain. After several years of hard work, the land ravaged by the disaster was finally revitalized, and people's lives gradually returned to normal. This story tells us that even when facing tremendous difficulties, as long as we persevere, we can overcome difficulties and achieve our goals.
