Origin Story
During the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, known for his youthful vigor and abundant talent. He yearned for a successful career in the imperial court in Chang'an, dreaming of realizing his life's aspirations. However, due to various reasons, his career path was rocky and fraught with setbacks. He persevered, though, relentlessly pursuing his ideals. One time, he went to Chang'an, seeking another opportunity. To his dismay, he found the court's dynamics had shifted dramatically. A new political power had emerged; those who once supported him had fallen from favor, and those opposed to him held sway. Li Bai realized that, under these circumstances, no amount of effort could secure a position of influence. He left Chang'an with a heavy heart, embarking on a journey as a wandering poet. He penned numerous immortal poems reflecting on life's lessons and his steadfast pursuit of his dreams. This experience profoundly taught him that certain things, once they become fait accompli, are almost impossible to reverse. This wisdom he wove into his poetry, leaving behind a valuable legacy for future generations.
