Origin Story
During the Warring States period, Zhuangzi and Huishi were best friends. They often discussed the philosophy of life and the mysteries of the universe together. Once, when Zhuangzi was traveling, he passed by Huishi's hometown, and Huishi warmly entertained him. During the meal, the two chatted lively and openly, without any restraint. Zhuangzi talked about his understanding of life, saying that people should be like water, adapting to nature and unrestrained. Huishi, on the other hand, believed that people should be like wood, tenacious and upright. Both expressed their views, but they did not contradict each other, but rather complemented each other. They knew each other's temperament, admired each other's talents, and this friendship transcended worldly concepts and prejudices, like a clear and enduring mountain stream.
