In an ancient village, an experienced carpenter was teaching his apprentice how to make wooden chairs. He first demonstrated how to make a simple wooden chair, explaining each step and technique in detail. The apprentice learned carefully and quickly mastered the method of making simple wooden chairs. The carpenter then took out a more complex chair blueprint and said to the apprentice, "Look, this chair is a bit more complicated than the previous one, but the manufacturing principle is the same, only the structure and size have changed. By analogy, you will be able to make various types of wooden chairs in the future." The apprentice nodded, indicating understanding. In the following days, the apprentice followed the carpenter's instructions, learning step by step and trying to make different types of wooden chairs. He had some difficulties at first, but as he gained experience, he gradually became able to independently complete the production of various complex wooden chairs. He deeply realized that the "by analogy" method the carpenter taught him was not only applicable to wooden chair making but also to other aspects. As long as he mastered the basic principles, he could learn by analogy and solve more problems.
