Origin Story
Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, Village Chief Li was known for his impartiality. One day, a dispute broke out in the village, and two neighbors argued fiercely over a piece of land. One was the richest landlord in the village, Old Qian, and the other was Old Zhang, a simple and poor farmer. Everyone knew that Old Qian was powerful and wealthy, and no one dared to easily offend him. But Chief Li did not favor Old Qian because of his power. He thoroughly investigated the matter and carefully examined the land deed, finally ruling that Old Zhang was the rightful owner of the land. Old Qian was unconvinced and threatened to seek revenge on Old Zhang, but Chief Li was unafraid and resolutely upheld justice. In the end, under pressure from the villagers, Old Qian had to compromise, and Old Zhang regained his land, earning even greater respect for Chief Li's impartiality. From then on, the story of Chief Li's impartiality spread throughout the village, becoming a beloved local legend.
