Origin Story

In 550 AD, Yuwen Tai, a prominent general of Western Wei, led his army eastward, aiming to conquer Eastern Wei in one fell swoop. Eastern Wei, relying on its advantageous terrain, tenaciously defended Baima City. Yuwen Tai understood that Baima City, situated at a crucial strategic location, was a fiercely contested area. Capturing it would cut off Eastern Wei's retreat, securing the initiative in the war. After several failed assaults, Yuwen Tai changed tactics to a siege. The prolonged siege exhausted Eastern Wei’s supplies and morale. Eventually, Baima City fell to Western Wei. This victory significantly boosted Western Wei's power, laying the groundwork for the subsequent unification of the north. Baima City, a fiercely contested area, left a profound mark on history, witnessing countless wars and battles, as well as the rise and fall of dynasties.
