Origin Story
During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang led the Shu army on a northern expedition. Faced with the strong military force of the Wei army, Zhuge Liang did not rashly attack, but adopted a steady strategy. He first sent scouts to scout enemy intelligence, understand the Wei army's deployment and strength, and then chose favorable terrain to set up camps and build fortifications, gradually advancing and steadily encroaching on the Wei army's territory. The Shu soldiers were all high-spirited and strictly observed military discipline, executing orders step by step. Although the Wei army had a large number of troops, due to the Shu army's steady approach, the Wei army could not effectively counterattack and could only passively defend. Finally, after long and arduous efforts, the Shu army achieved a phased victory in the Northern Expedition. Zhuge Liang's steady strategy not only won the war, but also became a model for later military strategists, reflecting the importance of steady progress and avoidance of rashness.
