In an ancient town in southern China, a young painter came to sketch. He checked into an old inn, whose owner was a kind old woman who always warmly welcomed every guest. The painter spent his days sketching in the town, capturing the beauty of the water towns and the daily lives of the townspeople. One day, while sketching by a small river, he saw an old fisherman fishing. The old fisherman's face was full of wrinkles, but his eyes were unusually bright. The painter was deeply captivated by the old fisherman and approached him to chat. They talked about the scenery of southern China and their lives. Although they were strangers, they quickly found common ground and felt like old friends reuniting. As the painter left, the old fisherman gave him a hand-woven fish basket as a memento of their encounter. The painter carried the basket, his heart filled with warmth, knowing this meeting with the old fisherman would be a beautiful memory in his life.
