In the Tang Dynasty, there lived a young man named Li Bai in Chang'an. From his youth, he was well-read, talented, and especially good at writing poems. He was handsome, had extraordinary temperament, dressed elegantly and freely, and every move radiated an unique elegance. Li Bai often visited the taverns and teahouses of Chang'an, drank with scholars and artists, and composed poems. He had a generous character, didn't care about small details, and disregarded worldly conventions and rules. Sometimes he wore coarse clothes and chatted with vendors in the streets, sometimes he wore fine clothes and talked freely at banquets of dignitaries. Li Bai was not only talented, but also brave and helpful. He often helped those who were wronged and advocated for justice, which gained him the love of the people. His reputation spread far and wide, and many people came to meet this elegant and charismatic scholar.
