相传，古代有一个皇帝，非常喜欢听人夸赞他。有一天，他召集大臣们一起到宫廷里，举行宴会。宴会期间，皇帝问大臣们："你们说，我能够活到什么时候呢？"大臣们都争先恐后地说："陛下英明神武，万寿无疆！"皇帝听了心里很高兴，于是就下令，把所有夸赞他“万寿无疆”的大臣，都封为高官，赐予重赏。

During the banquet, the emperor asked his ministers, "How long do you say I can live?" All the ministers rushed to say, "Your Majesty is wise and powerful, may you live forever!"
