在战国时期，诸侯国之间战火纷飞，动荡不安。一个小国为了求得生存，不得不依附于强大的秦国。秦国为了控制这个小国，派了一位名叫张仪的使者前往。张仪以三寸不烂之舌，巧舌如簧，说服了小国君主，并许诺为其提供保护。小国君主欣喜若狂，以为找到了强力的靠山。可是，没过多久，秦国便撕毁盟约，发动了对小国的战争。小国猝不及防，很快就沦陷了。这个故事告诉我们，在动荡不安的时代，不能轻易相信他人的承诺，要时刻保持警惕，才能更好地保护自己。

During the Warring States period in China, the kingdoms were in a state of constant unrest and upheaval. A small state, in order to survive, had to rely on the powerful state of Qin. Qin sent an envoy named Zhang Yi, who, with his eloquent speech, persuaded the ruler of the small state and promised to provide protection. The ruler of the small state was overjoyed, thinking he had found a powerful backer. However, soon after, Qin broke the alliance and launched a war against the small state. The small state was caught off guard and quickly fell. This story tells us that in times of unrest, we cannot easily believe the promises of others, but must always be vigilant in order to better protect ourselves.
