极乐世界 Pure Land
Explanation
佛教中指阿弥陀佛居住的西方净土,那里没有痛苦,只有永恒的快乐和幸福。后也泛指任何美好的、令人向往的幸福地方。
In Buddhism, it refers to the Pure Land in the West where Amitabha Buddha resides. There is no suffering there, only eternal joy and happiness. Later, it was also generally used to refer to any beautiful and desirable place of happiness.
Origin Story
唐僧师徒历经千辛万苦,终于到达了西天灵山,见到了如来佛祖。如来佛祖告诉他们,极乐世界就在西方,那里是阿弥陀佛的净土,充满着快乐和幸福。唐僧师徒非常高兴,他们知道自己终于完成了取经的任务,可以前往极乐世界享受安宁了。他们怀着激动的心情,踏上了前往极乐世界的路途。一路上,他们欣赏着美丽的景色,聆听着动听的鸟鸣,感受着极乐世界带给他们的快乐和宁静。终于,他们到达了极乐世界。在那里,他们见到了阿弥陀佛,阿弥陀佛欢迎他们来到极乐世界。在极乐世界里,唐僧师徒过着幸福快乐的生活,他们再也不用担心妖怪的侵扰,也不用经历取经路上的艰难险阻。他们每天都沉浸在欢乐之中,享受着无忧无虑的生活。
After Tang Sanzang and his disciples overcame countless hardships, they finally arrived at the sacred mountain of Lingshan in the West and met the Buddha Ruilai. The Buddha Ruilai told them that the Pure Land was located in the West, the pure land of Amitabha Buddha, filled with happiness and joy. Tang Sanzang and his disciples were very happy, knowing that they had finally completed their task and could go to the Pure Land to enjoy tranquility. They set off on their way to the Pure Land with excitement. Along the way, they admired the beautiful scenery, listened to the sweet birdsong, and felt the joy and tranquility that the Pure Land brought them. Finally, they arrived at the Pure Land. There they met Amitabha Buddha, who welcomed them to the Pure Land. In the Pure Land, Tang Sanzang and his disciples lived a happy and joyful life, no longer needing to worry about monsters or the hardships of the journey. They spent every day immersed in happiness and enjoyed a carefree life.

It is usually used to describe an ideal beautiful life or a state of extreme happiness. It is mostly used in written language.
