A young general was appointed to lead a newly formed unit to the border to repel an invasion. Although the soldiers had undergone rigorous training, they had never experienced real combat. The general knew that theoretical training alone wasn't sufficient for the brutal realities of war. Therefore, he decided to conduct a live-fire military exercise to let his soldiers hone their skills, become familiar with their weapons and equipment, and enhance their fighting spirit. In the exercise, artillery shells rained down, the soldiers experienced the cruelty and challenges of war firsthand, and their combat abilities increased. Finally, this unit won a glorious victory against the enemy thanks to the experience and courage they had gained from the live-fire drills.
