Origin Story
During the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, who was known for his unrestrained and flamboyant nature in his youth. One night, Li Bai and his friends were drinking heavily at a tavern, until they were all drunk. Amidst the merry drinking, Li Bai suddenly realized that he had forgotten to bring money. Embarrassed, he scratched his head. Suddenly, he had an idea. He stumbled to the mansion of a wealthy merchant. The door was locked and well-guarded. But Li Bai didn't care, he grabbed a stone and smashed the door open. Without hesitation, he entered the house. The merchant was awakened by the noise and rushed downstairs. Li Bai was sitting relaxed in the living room, drinking and composing poems. The merchant was surprised and angry, but in the face of Li Bai's nonchalant demeanor, he lost his words. Li Bai ignored him and continued to recite his poems. Only when he was full and satisfied did he leave the merchant's house. The next day, Li Bai heard that the story was spreading in the city. People said that he was daring and had dared to break into the house. Li Bai laughed about it. He did not intend to steal anything, but had only resorted to this somewhat rude method because of his drinking mood.
